Hello! My name is Aaron. Together with my wife Jenny, we hope you'll like this site. It's about our family.
My parents are from families Arav (Ağlamaz) and Benardete. Jenny's parents are from families Gambash and Mizrahi.
Our family is a Sephardic Jewish family. The term Sephardic comes from Hebrew for "Spanish" or "from Spain". Sephardic Jews are those who were expelled from Spain in 1492. After leaving Spain many of them found shelter in territories of the Ottoman Empire.
